Horizons Optical announcec the addition of David Benet as CCO

Horizons Optical is pleased to announce the addition of David Benet as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the company for the regions of Europe, Asia-Pacific (APAC), Middle East and Africa (MEA), as well as Brazil.

David Benet brings with him a wealth of international sales experience and a deep knowledge of the optical market. With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, David has played a key role in the success of major companies in the sector.

In his previous position, David successfully led the Ophthalmology business unit and the LifeHUB at Bayer, playing a crucial role in driving and leading the development of a strategic and innovative mindset in the areas under his responsibility. He also fostered the creation of high-performing teams and efficiently managed uncertainty, positioning both areas as leaders in the industry. His experience in the ophthalmic field and his track record of outstanding achievements make him a relevant asset for Horizons Optical as it continues to expand in this highly specialized market.

Prior to his distinguished work at Bayer, David achieved success in various leadership positions in marketing and sales, both at Novartis and Esteve, where he demonstrated his ability to develop innovative and disruptive marketing strategies, consistently exceeding established targets through his skill in creating and leading teams to success.
