Optiswiss focuses on international growth with a new manager

The Swiss lens manufacturer Optiswiss has appointed Frederik Zimmermann to a key position to strengthen its international brand presence.
Since March 2024, Frederik Zimmermann has been part of Optiswiss AG as Head of Global Expansion. With the strategic focus on international growth, Frederik Zimmermann will identify new distribution and franchise partners and expand existing partnerships.

Samuel Frei, CEO & Delegate of the Board at Optiswiss AG, emphasizes the strategic importance of this decision: «The international expansion marks another important milestone in our growth strategy. With the help of Frederik Zimmermann’s expertise and in close cooperation with our distribution partners, we are confident of realizing sustainable growth outside Europe and expanding Optiswiss’s brand presence.»

With in-depth expertise through degrees in optometry and business administration and many years of professional experience in international markets, Frederik Zimmermann has more than 15 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Optiswiss, he held a leading position in business development at Rodenstock in over 40 countries and also held positions in Berlin, Hong Kong, Sydney and Munich.
