The offer for newcomers to make their presence felt at opti 2024 is expanded once more: the new Optics Start-up area in Hall C3 is dedicated to young start-ups of optical products and services, this making it the second start-up area in addition to the popular opti boxes for new frame designs.

“We are more than happy to provide an ideal space for young companies from the ophthalmic optics sector to present themselves creatively and at the same time to connect with the international community for optics and design,” says opti Exhibition Director Cathleen Kabashi.

Making business contacts, increasing the company’s awareness profile as well as its success

What start-up wouldn’t want that? The new OPTICS START-UP AREA in Hall C3 offers the best opportunities for networking and gaining an industry foothold. The location within the trade show couldn’t be more perfect: directly opposite the Runway Bar, one of the central meeting points at opti. The OPTICS START-UP AREA is part of the new “Innovation Area” and is directly adjacent to the opti Trend Hub. This is where various players meet, united by their vision of the future for a professional exchange of ideas.

Participation is everything yet now only possible for the happy few

The Optics start-up area is open to all newcomers whose business model is related to one of the subsequent opti relevant focus topics:
• Eyewear Trends – for all products in ophthalmic optics
• Health – everything related to visual comfort, screenings, hearing acoustics, etc.
• Vision Care Trends – from lenses to care products
• Sustainability
• Sales & PoS and myopia management
• Education/knowledge/career as well as digitalisation and technology

Their presence on the Optics start-up area already secured have companies such as Clear-Eye-Systems GmbH, Entod Research Cell UK Ltd, ClipOn
Optimiertes Sehen GmbH, Lenzbox GmbH and optihook.

Start-ups which still want to be placed on the Optics start-up area ought to hurry:

spaces already are scarce and the application deadline ends 22 December 2023.

Easy access to the international opti community

Newcomers needn’t worry about a costly booth set-up: the opti My Business package comes at a very competitive bargain price, thus offering the perfect launch platform. After all, these newcomers play an important role in the industry’s further development in expanding into new and promising markets.
