Meta is set to expand its physical retail presence through a new partnership with Best Buy, introducing dedicated “Meta Lab” spaces within more than 50 stores across the United States and Canada.

Each location will feature a roughly 900-square-foot shop-in-shop format designed to give customers hands-on access to the company’s latest hardware, including AI-powered glasses and virtual reality headsets. The spaces will incorporate interactive demonstrations, smart mirror technology and personalized fitting services, supported by trained Meta sales staff.

According to the company, the rollout builds on its existing experiential retail strategy by allowing consumers to test products in-store before making a purchase decision. The first Meta Lab locations are scheduled to open in June, with additional sites planned throughout the summer. Meta expects to have more than 50 such locations in operation across North America by the end of 2026.
