Vision Expo will become one unified event
From March 2026, there will only be one Vision Expo per year. Vision Expo West and Vision Expo East will therefore merge into one event that will take place at different venues but always in spring. This was announced by Ashley Mills, Chief Executive Officer of The Vision Council, in a personal message. The venue will alternate between the three already familiar cities for Vision Expo: Las Vegas, Orlando and New York.
“Beginning in March 2026, Vision Expo will become one unified annual event. This strategic evolution, shaped by input from exhibitors, attendees, partners, and many of you, reflects a shared desire for a more focused, impactful, and streamlined experience announced Ashley Mills. Vision Expo was created to serve our industry, and in conversations with the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors and the Show Committee, there was clear consensus that the industry is ready for a new format.Â
The unified Vision Expo should remain a vital platform for innovation, connection, and growth. By channeling the energy into one powerful annual moment, the organizers plan to unlock new potential, bigger ideas, deeper relationships, smarter investments, and a stronger community.Â
“Understanding the regionality of our attendee base, the event will rotate among major U.S. cities—starting with Orlando in 2026, then Las Vegas in 2027, and New York in 2028. Each city will bring new energy and opportunities through exceptional education, immersive product discovery, and dynamic networking.”
According to the organizers research the number one reason to attend the shows is to see what’s new. They therefore chose a Q1 date pattern to ensure that Vision Expo is the one event where attendees can see everything the industry has to offer and the latest technology and design. As such, the new format aligns with product cycles, continuing education timelines, and buying seasons — while reducing travel and planning demands.Â
