SpecCheck and Ocuco partner to transform order, live chat and payment processing

SpecCheck the leading digital ordering and communication platform for the optical industry, has announced a major new integration with Ocuco’s optical lab management system (LMS), Innovations. This partnership delivers a connected experience for labs, combining order and payment processing in their online offering, while also introducing SpecCheck’s Live Chat to support seamless communication between labs and eye care professionals (ECPs).

The integration allows labs using Innovations to receive and process Rx orders directly from SpecCheck users, with validated order data flowing straight into the LMS to eliminate rekeying and reduce errors. Through SpecCheck’s Lab Pay platform, secure digital payments are processed and then passed automatically into Innovations, keeping financial and order data in sync. Complementing the ordering and payment capabilities, SpecCheck’s Live Chat interface enables real-time communication between labs and ECPs, helping teams resolve issues faster and keep jobs moving without delays.

While order processing is available immediately, SpecCheck and Ocuco are working with partner labs to roll out Lab Pay in the coming months. This phased approach ensures a smooth launch and gives early adopters the opportunity to begin using electronic ordering, secure digital payments, and real-time chat as a single connected workflow, ahead of broader availability across the Innovations lab base.
