Coburn Technologies announces key leadership changes

Coburn Technologies, a leading global provider of ophthalmic lens processing systems and ophthalmic instruments, has announced several personnel changes within key leadership positions spanning sales, engineering, product strategy, and human resources.

“As we begin a new fiscal year in April 2026, we are pleased to announce several well-earned promotions and new positions,” said Alex Incera, President at Coburn Technologies. “These individuals excel in their roles and have demonstrated their abilities to drive our success forward in the optical industry.”

Jason Frank has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. “Having recently stepped into the Director role with a clear path toward VP of Sales, he has hit the ground running with his sales activities in the United States,” said Incera. Jason has valuable experience in the optical industry with several companies including Essilor International, Signet Armorlite, and Hoya Vision Care, excelling in management roles.

Wayne Labrecque has been promoted to Vice President of Key Accounts. “Wayne has made a lasting impact during his 30 years with the company. In his new role managing key accounts, he will focus on what he does best – building and strengthening key customer relationships in the industry,” noted Incera. His experience, understanding of the market, and strategic approach will continue to be a huge asset to Coburn.

Enrico “Nino” Manes, Ph.D. has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering. Nino holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, has over 20 years of engineering leadership across aerospace, defense, and commercial sectors, and is a holder of over 100 U.S and international patents. Incera remarks, “Nino’s passion for innovation and problem solving will continue to keep Coburn moving forward.”

Diego Jimènez has been promoted to Director of Sales, Latin America. Diego has done a phenomenal job growing the company’s presence in Latin America. “His dedication, strong customer relationships, and market expertise have played a key role in building Coburn accounts in the Latin America market, and the company is excited to see him continue to expand Coburn’s reach in that region,” said Incera.

Adrian Suran has been promoted to Senior Product Strategy Manager. During his 15 years in the optical industry, Adrian has been instrumental in shaping strategies for the UV coating product line and will extend that skill to other parts of Coburn’s business. Incera comments, “His strategic mindset and proven ability to connect the dots between customer needs and innovation make him a perfect fit for this next step.”

Teresa McDivitt, CSP has been promoted to Human Resources Manager. Teresa has been a trusted partner across the organization, bringing a thoughtful, people-first approach to everything she does. Teresa has 27 years of experience in talent acquisition and has played a key role in assembling a terrific team at Coburn. “Her support and commitment continue to make Coburn a great place to work,” said Incera.
